I Would Describe Myself As

I have been separated for the past 2 years and I am in the process of getting a divorce. I am in good spirits as I can see the end of the tunnel and there is no train. Business reasons hampered the divorce until lately when all the items have been resolved. I just turned 64 in July and decided to start the journey looking for a person who will join me for the ride into the sunset. Plain and simple I want to have as much fun as I can with somebody that enjoys the things that the both of us like.

I feel this to be the best part of our lives to get it all right and have a meaningful relationship. I like being outdoors whether it is in the garden, on a river, in the mountains, on the beach or just in the back yard with the bar-b-cue, family and friends. I enjoy playing golf, tennis or riding the HD down a nice winding road in the country. I use to do a little bit of diving and would like to resume that also in the near future. I am really up for anything my partner wants to do except opera. I also like the comfort of my home with a very special person by my side.

I feel that I am flexible and willing to absorb my new partners likes and dislikes when the need arises to accommodate. I can be as soft as a babies kiss, compassionate and tender. I think women want love, security and a God fearing man that will treat them as an equal and appreciate their gift to the relationship. Men may have the muscles but women have the internal strength to move mountains. I will take care of you and our families above all others and I will make every effort to protect you from harm. And I will love you the best that I can.

My relationship with God is simple. This is important. I see God in everything. I see Him in the eyes of an elderly person and in the heart of a young person. I see Him in the trees the rocks the water all around me. I see Him in the little children who have not a care in the world. I see Him in those that are burdened but have no choice but to cope. I don’t need a preacher telling me that God loves me. I'm not very comfortable sitting in a pew being preached to I guess I have a short attention span with a touch of ADHT :-). I do however like church picnics, bazaars, pot luck dinners and also the fellowship. I just don't do sitting and being preached to real well.
