One who has worked & lived in 52 different countries with my career in the exploration sectors of Energy, Mining and Resources searches & development. Now starting to ' retire ' from that high profile, fast lane lifestyle in favor of one more peaceful, slower & more gentle, i.e. on an active ranch or farm.
My number says I'm 68 ... well, OK ... but I remain an extremely strong, healthy & quite active man more like the typical 50 year old might be.
I'm educated, fun loving, like quick wit, good books & music, most every animal & critter out there, and smart people who mix that with a quiet dignity and peaceful presence. I love weather in all its forma as I love wide open spaces, particularly in early mornings & fine evenings. A top joy of mine is good conversation with a fine lady of wide interests & awareness or with good friends. I am now leaning toward the homebody type who doesn't need to be entertained ( TV, bars etc. ) all the time.
I am a very capable man who is skilled with the usual home maintenance, repairs & rebuilds/alterations etc. I also have the ability to operate any motor vehicle out there as well as most all equipment in a non professional way.
I am currently in a quiet search for fine, mature woman of substance who wants a good man in her life, to work for and/or with her on a daily basis - ideally in a rural setting complimented with animals who need maintenance & daily care.
Becoming a coffee with good chats guy more each day now, I am simply hoping to go into an active retirement with a good woman who likes nothing more than just being gently alive in a peaceful environment with a good man of substance & character.

Landscaping at home. Building, altering, remodeling, painting etc. of home environment items. Road trips, either day ones or of a few days. Early morning sunrises & evening sunsets on the porch on a fine day. Just being cozy with a good woman, particularly within nasty weather times.

I like a woman who is thoughtful in terms of good chats on most everything we can think of, real or abstract. I like a woman who prefers to NOT always want to be around a group or crowd of people, but would rather live a lower key lifestyle around animals, her man in all things and occasionally among family and small groups of friends.
