Mama, sister, daughter, friend, and child of God above all else. I'm launching into a new career at age 50 and love helping people. I'm looking for a best friend. A sense of humor is critical! Are you adventurous? You don't have to love hiking to live your best life, but you do have to be willing to not eat at the same restaurant every Friday night. I'm a talker. I need you to be at least a good communicator. You must love dogs. That's a non-negotiable requirement, as are being a non-tobacco and drug user and know how to drink responsibly if at all. I've been married twice, divorced and widowed. It's hard to say what I'm looking for in a person. I think that depends on who he is and how we mesh.

I don't farm! I grew up on a farm. We still have a farm, I will inherit part of it, and I have some say in what happens day-to-day with it now. My Dad and bother primarily raise soybeans. We raised livestock - cows, hogs - when I was growing up. My 4-H chickens won blue ribbons two years in a row. I'm a terrible farm kid! I won't eat anything I knew. I'm an artist by nature, a counselor by profession, but I love to grow things. Working outside, getting hot and dirty, and enjoying the fruits (or flowers) of my labors is richly rewarding to me.
