What do you like most about your work?

I don't farm! I grew up on a farm. We still have a farm, I will inherit part of it, and I have some say in what happens day-to-day with it now. My Dad and bother primarily raise soybeans. We raised livestock - cows, hogs - when I was growing up. My 4-H chickens won blue ribbons two years in a row. I'm a terrible farm kid! I won't eat anything I knew. I'm an artist by nature, a counselor by profession, but I love to grow things. Working outside, getting hot and dirty, and enjoying the fruits (or flowers) of my labors is richly rewarding to me.
