Put myself through college and graduate school custom harvesting wheat, my Grandfathers chosen profession. Summers following the harvest from Texas and Montana helped me develop a solid work ethic, a great respect for agriculture, and the families that engage in it. Upon graduation, armed with academic degrees, and scars from the harvester school of hard knocks, landed a job in OKC, and had a career in the high-tech world of computer peripherals. Rather than relocate to Minnesota with that company, remained in Oklahoma working other Engineering positions. Now nearing retirement, live in the country, work in a small town, hobby farm, help support my mom who lives in a retirement center, and mess around in my shop. There's more to my story, seems like there were some kids along the way, but I'm sure you're dozing off by now. Only us sharing a cup of coffee can save you from a wonderful nap.
