I am a man that believes in the old adage "Character Counts". These have and will forever will be two great words of wisdom. I am one who takes pride in being labeled an "All American Country Boy".

I am divorced after a five year period of separation. The end of my 30 year marriage in August 2011 had a traumatic effect on me and tested my will to see the light in the sentiments of those words, But, I have come to realize, it is not an issue of sentiment or meaning, it is more the measure of the person and as I have learned over the years, people change. No amount of justification or debate can minimize or dim the light of guidance embodied in the words "Character Counts"..

Over the course of the last five years, I have grown much and learned a lot. I've climbed back into the saddle and am once again ready to ride. I do not see my self growing old alone and therefore wish to find that person with whom I can be myself and share all of who I am. I look forward to the day when I can once again enjoy the close and loyal company of one who appreciates an honorable man.
