I Would Describe Myself As

Hi, my name is actually Shelley. I am originally from the big city of Jacksonville, back when it wasn't so big. In my late twenties I moved to a 105 acre farm in Hawthorne, Florida and except for a couple years in Atlanta, I have remained in small town, rural America, I wa married 33 years before becoming a widow and am a retired postal employee. As stated I am 59 years old but people usually think I am in my forties and I am not going yo correct them!! Now that i am past the greivig process and have dated a few times I am more interested in finding that final partner in life and enjoying every last minute! I love to cook, read, sew and shop in little junk or thrift shops looking for diamonds in the rough. that old mantle or ladder left behind in someones barn. I do drink socially. I quit smoking after my husbands heart attack and hope to find someone who can keep up with me but who can enjoy nights at home watching television together. I will cook if you do the dishes!! Would lobe the opportunity to travel a little stateside.I will be glad to any questions yo0u have for me. I have three living children, none of which live with me. They were raised and educated to be independent individuals and I am proud to say they are. Meeting someone this way is a little weird and scary to me, but I am not going to sit on a barstool waiting for Mr. Right to walk in!! So I am jumping in with two feet and can't wait to meet my country man,
