I am a college professor, doctor and overall decent human. I spent 10 years in a monogamous relationship where our dream was to have our own homestead / small farm. The relationship (and the guy) is long gone (it’s been 2.5 years) but the dream is still strong. I’ve worked on building my yard into a safe space for my small chicken flock. But I want more! I want a partner who shares the same goals, is comfortable with hard work and the rewards that come with building a self-sufficient (or somewhat sufficient) life.
