Me describiría a mi mismo como

I'm a fun loving simple women. I love doing simple things, but also like to get fancy every once and awhile. I'm a widow with 2 sons that are happily married and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I have lived in the same very small town for nearly 40 years. I love my home and my three little dogs. I love living in a farming area and have been around it all my life.I went to a country high school and a small college. I come from two generations of Farmall folks, but have no problem with John Deere folks. :) I love taking care of my home and working in my yard. Traveling has always been important to me, but as time goes by I've seen most of what is on my bucket list, but I can always add to it. I'm in very good health except a little trouble with a leg. Pretty good for an old lady. I love being sixty. Best age I've ever been. So freeing. I like to dress nice and can now dress to my own taste and not care what anyone thinks. I'm not nearly so wrapped up in my looks but not to say I don't like to look nice. I realized about a year ago I needed to get healthy and have since lost quit a bit of weight and as I said I feel great. I'm not much of a reader, but do enjoy short stories. I only watchTV in the evenings as a rule because I like to sleep late if I feel like or do what I want during the day. Weird huh? I love people and I'm truly a people person. I was a director at our local health dept. until I retired in 2008.I loved working with people in the community. I have always worked in the health field of one kind or another. I know this sounds strange for a 60 yr. old women but I like Syfy. Not crazy stuff, but I do like the effects in these shows. I'm the curious type. Of course the joy in my life are my grandchildren. Gunner 10, his baby brother Clark 1 and my granddaughter Hadlee. I recently took the whole family to Disney world and we had such a great time. The baby didn't go but keeping up with a 10 yr. old boy and 5yr. old girl. was a joy. I have a small family, but we are close. My father is still living and does wonderful for 84. Tough like his daughter. I've decided to sign up for this web site because it fits me the best. Just a country girl that is not looking for anything else. My husband has been gone now nearly 2 yrs. The best man I ever knew. We were married for nearly 40 years. I think I'm ready for some company though and I know he would not want me to be lonely. I would like to find someone that is somewhat like me, but not to much. That's no fun. I don't smoke and prefer someone that doesn't either. Social drinking is no problem but beyond that is a no no. If you think you would like to spend time with a women that is happy doing most anything, I'm your gal. Sitting at home watching a movie, going to a movie, maybe a little dancing at a country music joint, going out for a simple meal or taking walks, again I'm your gal. Hay, I would even enjoy doing chores with you. I look forward to hearing about you.

I'm retired, but I was a Public Health Director for 21 years and loved it. I've always worked in the health field.

You name it, it can be fun. As said before I like going to movies, dancing, just sitting at home and travel. There are no bounders when it comes to having fun. Making your own is the best.

¿Qué estás buscando?

I'm looking for someone with a good sense of humor. That is important. I love to laugh. I'm not looking for perfection that's for sure. That would be no fun. You must be thoughtful of others feelings, but willing to speak your mind if it's appropriate. Tenderness at the right time and wrong time would be wonderful. In other words just reaching down to hold my hand when not expected is just the right thing to do. I don't think age has a thing to do with passion. And that is what I'm looking for. A passionate, caring guy who would like to sweep me off my feet. Don't get me wrong I can be independent. Don't want the guy that will call if I'm 10 minutes late from shopping and I won't call you if your 10 minutes late from work. Honesty is very important to me.
