I have been single for seventeen years and now I am ready to fall in love again. I have one grown son, one crazy cat,and I moved back to the farm where I grew up. It is so great to be home! Now that I am retired from teaching my whole life, I love working in the yard, walking in the woods, fishing at the pond, playing cards and golf with friends. I enjoy making home-cooked meals,including home-made ice cream, and eating it with family and friends. I like Chinese food and dislike most fast-food establishments!
I am family oriented,have been blessed with great friends and have a deep belief in God (what farmer doesn't).
I love being home, but I also like to travel. Even though I have been to most of the states, I would like to go on a road trip to the New England States during the fall, meander the old Route 66 from coast to coast, and to visit historical sites.
I am down-to-earth, cherish relationships and helping others who are unable to do things for themselves, mostly the elderly.
I've been told I have a great sense of humor and love teasing my friends.
I am looking for a relationship that is give-and-take on both ends. One who will appreciate me as much as I do him. Money is a necessary evil, but I do not worship it.I am practical, know the value of a buck, and will go to the end of the earth for the right gentleman!
