Widdowed 8 years ago. Love family, farm animals and planning and planting a garden.



I have milked goats, made cheese, done some butchering, and raised 200 sows.



I do canning, dehydrating, and I cook with whatever is left from the garden. Loved every minute of it. I still bake bread and cook.



I am easy going. I lived by myself on 500 acres in Grass Valley, Californnia. I had goats and chickens there. I was 45 minutes from the closest mom and pop grocery store, 1/2 hour from my mail box, and an hour from the large market. So, being by myself is easy and I don't need to be in town every week.



I believe that for me farming is the life I want. It is still my dream. If you farm you know what I mean.



There is a lot more to me but I don't want to make this too long.

Probably having dinner in a safe place. Or going to a county fair. Not for the rides just to see the sights and eat the wonderful food. For me a real treat would be to go to a livestock auction. I love the smells and excitement.

Spinning on an old fashioned spinning wheel. I would like to grow my own fiber with goats, sheep or alpacas . Then spinning the fiber and knitting a project. Note: not all of the above animals. Just one, any of them.

I love to plan and plant a garden. I then like to can and put up vegetables and fruit from the garden enough to last until the new year.
I like to watch TV and I love the snow. I love milking goats and can milk a cow. I adore chickens and eggs. I like those giant chickens for meat.

Since I live pretty far from most men who are farmers, I need to meet and get to know about them on line. I know for me to be happy I need to farm. I don't care what kind. He must love dogs and maybe even cats. He can love horses or orchards. I would like a truck farmer, also.
