I am an open, outgoing man. I thrive on positive energy and new experiences. I am resilient and don't sweat the small stuff. I treat people with respect and humanity. I am an optimist at heart, and assume the best about people and life until proven otherwise. I love what I do for a living, and have a diverse and fascinating job (to me at least) where I work with very few smart people who have great values. I have two kids, and being an active and engaged dad is an essential part of who I am. Watching my kids grow up is fascinating, and they have made me even more compassionate and patient. Just that sometimes, due to my charity work and business, I may be away for a while but surely do spend all the best time with them when I am home. What I am looking for is simple, yet elusive. I am independent, happy, and have a rewarding life. I am looking for a great connection on every level--emotional, physical, intellectual, values, compatibility, lifestyle, sense of humor. I know who I am and what I want out of life, and am very transparent with those close to me. Honesty is key, since I think being intimate requires vulnerability and trust which is impossible without being open and having candid conversations. I don't try to change, constrain, fix, or undermine people--it only leads to resentment and withdrawal and ultimately destroys a relationship.


Essentially I am looking for a woman that I find interesting, smart, attractive, and funny to share things with--talking, having dinner at a great restaurant, traveling, chilling out at a dive bar, seeing a movie, laughing at inside jokes, relaxing at home, and generally exploring life. I find that the best experiences are less about what you are doing and more about who you are doing it with.
