What I'm searching for in a good man...I pass them on the streets, in the malls or grocery shopping. Most I cannot see because I don't know what a " Good Man " looks like. A Good Man usually isn't flashy enough or rich enough to turn my head. He might not wear a suit or drive the late's car. He might not have a body like Dewayne Johnson "The Rock" or a movie stars smile like Paul Walker "The Fast and Furious" But, as I have matured in life and age, I realize it's better to find someone who got my back rather than someone who turns my head, Although looks do play their part. A Good Man doesn't agree whole-hearted with everything I say.He doesn't just tell me what I want to hear and do the opposite.He doesn't declare how sensitive, sweet, caring, sincere, (yadda-yadda" he is, he won't have to because it shows.His opinions and my own may clash, but he would never degrade me to prove he's right.He even admits to being wrong, especially if I'm willing to do the same. A Good Man is NOT going to meet every item on my checklist.He is human with frailties and faults mixed in with all of his wonderful, strong attributes.He needs my love and respect. edit delete A GOOD MAN pt 2: He needs to feel that I don't need to catch him doing something wrong so I can declare,"Aha! A Good Man wouldn't be insecure about me having great achievements, in fact, I'm his number one supporter, his happiness comes with seeing me excel in my dreams and accomplishing my goals.For as I excel an is exalted I will bring my Good Man right along with me. A Good Man doesn't have to always give me a huge birthday or valentines gift.He shows his love in ways that are comfortable to him an makes me feel loved.I would never judge him by hid TV standards.No one is really living a fairy tale.A Good Man is a man of his word, he says what he means and means what he says.His word is his bond.He never leaves me wondering if he is going to call or show up because he's dependable.A Good Man has a love for God, as his love for God and relationship grows, so will our love and relationship...if you've read this far then you really are A GOOD MAN!
