Honest, character, responsibility, integrity. A life time of pretty much doing the next right thing. I am a Christian (PCA) and my faith is very important to me. Married 50 years to my first love and the only woman I have ever loved. I have been widowed since Nov 2016 and have not dated. (I am a bit surprised to find myself on this web site) I graduated from college in engineering and am a licensed professional engineer. I am a Marine who served in VietNam in 68 and 69. I love my farm and working on it. My dog, is a farm girl through and through. I love my friends and Family. I have good friends that go back to high school that I see regularly. I spend about a week a month in Florida visiting with old friends and looking in on my business.

I have been described by friends as a deep thinker. My favorite author is CS Lewis though I have to admit that I struggle to keep up with his amazing intellect (but I do enjoy the challenge.) I like jazz. my favorite album is probably Orsino’s Song by artist Clare Teal. I also enjoy blue grass, country and of course the old rock and roll from the 50s. I like romantic comedies, especially the Meg Ryan movies. No suspense thrillers or dark themes.

I love my country and our constitution and take seriously the oath I took in the Marine Corps to protect and defend it. I would consider myself conservative. I dislike Polytical correctness and efforts to revise our history. I am not crazy about the politics of the Republican Party but I definitely would not be n harmony with the politics of the Democrat party.

I seem to be in pretty good health and am enjoying my life. I don’t smoke but do drink moderately. I like to keep things orderly and on track. I am an early to bed and early to rise type guy.

I am gracious and kind and have a generous spirit. I love animals of all types and love being outside.
