I've been in my profession for the past 36 years. I own the business and am looking to slow down. While the business is successful it is also very physically demanding, it has taken it's toll. While I'm worn, I am not worn out. I like to think of myself as you would your favorite pair of jeans, broken in just so they fit perfect, very comfortable and cozy to slip into. While they don't look like they did when new, every stain, hole, rip and frayed edge has a story to tell. They have an abundance of character.
Enough with the metaphors. I am close to retirement. While I will doubtfully completely retire, I would like to enjoy life more.
My ex-wife and I raised two wonderful kids. My son is 30 and my daughter is 28. Both are will on their way to making wonderful lives for themselves.
I am looking to the future and would love to share it with the right person. We all know we want that person who is honest, trustworthy, has a great sense of humor, financially secure etc., what it truly boils down to is chemistry, it's there or it isn't.
Let's talk and see if it's there. You'll never know by standing on the sideline wondering, should I or shouldn't I. Just do it. Say hello. If you've read all this it is a very short hop to say Hi.
