I'm a retired naval officer, pretending to be a farmer. I've been back and forth between Florida and Kentucky now since 2009 looking after my parents. Dad passed away and mom is now in a nursing home but I'm here keeping up their property (which I now am part owner of, along with my sisters). My sweetheart passed away from ovarian cancer and I am hoping to find a wonderful lady who's a good fit for me and my odd ball, warm, sincere, loving self. I'm a conservative, fun loving type of guy who loves deeply and likes a good laugh. On "my" farm (10 acres)) I have and excellent stand of Johnson grass and poison ivy, which I am constantly trying to eradicate. I'm musical...play the guitar and sing and have been in a few bands over the years (for fun...there's no money in it). I like PBS British comedies, X-Files re-runs, The Vikings series, NCIS, etc., I spent a good deal of my early navy career traveling around western Europe and the Mediterranean, then got stationed in Scotland for seven years total. Live most things British. Miss closeness, intimate talks, together times, snuggling on cold nights, and someone who knows how to make good iced tea and can fire up a riding lawn mower with me every now and then.
