Retired nurse as of last year. Most of my adult life have been living in town, most recently in Ankeny before moving to Pella.
I grew up on a small acreage in Southeast Iowa and have missed the country life. I would love to keep a large vegetable garden again and still do a lot of canning when things are a good price. Not afraid of the dark and have no problem with the sights, sounds, and smells that go along with a farm. My family always raised a steer, a hog, and lots of chickens that we dressed out ourselves.
