I'm first & foremost a Christian. Secondly, I'm a mom to a kind-hearted, handsome 13 year old son. He & I have been through a lot over the last few years, & I have been deeply hurt by people who claimed to love me. I don't know if sharing too much is wise on my part, but I was always taught that if you truly love someone, then you love them unconditionally. I haven't dated in quite awhile, because I want to give my full attention to my son. Also, I was in a long marriage that I thought would be forever, because that's the way I was taught. However, my son is older now & I realize he will be 18 before I can blink an eye. So, I'm beginning to see that I don't want to experience the rest of my life being alone. I believe a good relationship first begins with a good friendship followed closely by good communication. Without communication, the relationship will not last, in my opinion. I just want someone who will be good to me & to my son. We are a packaged deal. I also want someone who will not only climb the mountains with me, but also be with me in the valleys, too.
