Since I was a kid, I always dreamed of moving "way out in the wilderness" as I thought of it at the time. And now I have it, enjoying my house in the country as my friends refer to it. And I'd love to share it with that special someone.
I suppose I am a bit of a hybrid country/city person in a way. I love tending to my orchard and huge garden that was never possible in the city, but not planting acres of crops :) I enjoy my job at Chrysler and a night on the town in Detroit, but it's the country life that does it for me.
Aside from the gardening, my hobbies reside in home improvement and the occasional road trip. Seems all homes require improvement in some form, fortunately I enjoy it, remodeling anything that hasn't been touched in several years. So much so I find myself at other friend's homes occasionally assisting them with their project, usually for the price of a good beer. :) When I'm not improving the house, I may be on a road trip somewhere, exploring a civil war battlefield, hiking or snowmobiling, or simply checking out a new brewery in the great state of MI. As long as I'm not standing still doing nothing, I'm happy.
