Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I am a down-to-earth, country girl who cleans up well! I have been described by some as confident and self-assured with a good sense of humor. I like people who make me laugh, although, I'm always up for a deep discussion about most anything. I am not as physically active as I'd like to be due to a back disability, which causes me to be accompanied by my Service Dog. I am by no means sedentary, however, and spend a lot of time volunteering with my nationally registered therapy dogs visiting nursing homes, hospitals, and Hospice patients. I, also, play in my church's handbell ensemble. I love live theatre and have been active in local community theatre productions. I grew up on a farm and moved back to the same farm (to help my mom) 20 years ago. The two constants in and loves of my life have been God and my (German Shepherd) dogs. Both have kept me going when times have been rough. I need to be with someone who loves animals, especially dogs (since I usually have more than one)! I am, basically, looking for "human" companionship at the moment. Not to say, if it's God's will, I wouldn't be open to a more serious relationship. I am not into long distance relationships, so would prefer someone who lives close enough that we could meet and participate in activities together.

The farm, actually, belongs to my mom. We lease the pastures to a friend who raises sheep and goats. Our place is a little under five acres. (What you'd probably call a small, hobby farm.)
