I love to be outside – working most of the time. I mow my lawns, tend my vegetable and flower gardens – weed whack the ditch – yes that’s what I said “weed whack the ditch” – well somebody has to do it. I am content to stroll through the fields, or the woods, at a leisurely pace typically thinking about what project I might tackle next.
Don’t get me wrong I enjoy going out to a movie, or for a nice meal, and can also enjoy stopping by the hole in the wall dinner for a real burger and fries.
I am not an intellectual but I can hold my own in a conversation, not the life of the party but people who know me would say they enjoy my company, I do not stay on top of all the news that’s not fit to print, but I am aware of what is going on, not into politics – frankly watching our government at work makes me want to go out and get a gun, oh and I am not into gun control.
I can’t ski or skate but will snowshoe some, a little snowmobiling, hockey games, auctions, agricultural fairs, yard sales, and lots of meals with family. I enjoy being with people but I also like time to myself. I cook because I have to, like to plan things out, I am organized and dislike chaos.
I have my own home, I drive a truck and love it, have two cats, I stand on my own two feet and I expect anyone I am with to stand on theirs…
