About Me
I am a Christian woman, saved by the grace of God. Trying every day to be better then I was yesterday. I am very active in my church.
I have strong beliefs both personally and politically. I love discussion and debates on a variety of topics. I am sarcastic with a twisted sense of humor.
I dispise the cold weather but also understand that it is necessary so that I can have a great garden through planting season. I love growing what I eat and canning so that I can enjoy it any time. Which also means I enjoy cooking and make a 3 course meal most nights. I enjoy building things and often come up with projects just to get a new tool. I live in a house that was abandoned for 15 years and can't wait to gut and remodel each room one by one.
I love animals and have 2 dogs, several cats, chickens, guineas and a turkey (he just showed up). I would love to have other animals but my property isn't large enough.
When I have time I like to craft by crocheting, drawing and painting. I wish I went fishing more and want to learn to hunt. I also like reading.
I enjoy learning new things, because knowledge is power.
My sons, I have two. My oldest is 21 and my youngest is 16 and a junior in high school. They both live with me. I am homeschooling my 16 year old and have been for several years.
I am currently not working but pick up odd jobs as I can.
I am strong willed and can be stubborn. But honestly aren't most women?
Looking For
I am looking for someone who is a Christian and will practice what they preach. Someone who is honest, even when it is hard to be. Someone who I can have a conversation or debate with, that knows what they believe and what they are talking about. Someone who has a real sense of humor and likes to laugh. A man that is driven and has a goal and purpose in life. Someone who doesn't mind hard work. Someone who takes pride in have a job and is independent. Someone who can not only teach me things, but is always striving to learn more and better themselves as well. I need someone who will take the time to spend time with me. But also go out and enjoy time with thier friends or on thier own. And eventually someone who will get to know my sons.
I have never been married and hope to eventually find not only a husband, but my forever. But I am a realist and those things take time. But, I do want to grow old with someone. I am tired of being alone. People weren't put on earth to live out thier lives alone.
I don't want games and don't have time for someone just trying to get in my pants. If I just wanted to have ****or a short meaningless relationship I wouldn't bother being on a site like this.
Anyway I am sure I could go on. But, let me just see what may be out there.
