Me describiría a mi mismo como
As I fill this out, I would describe myself as frustrated... I wanted my profile name to be "EastTXhomesteader" but I guess it was one letter too long, I hit "next" as I was signing up not realizing that it was missing an "r" and now I can't fix it, nailed it! :)
So, as I tried to convey with my profile name, I have a homestead in East Texas which I enjoy but meeting a good woman on a remote property has been a bit of a challenge, I thought I'd give this a try.
I grew up in the country but moved to Dallas in my early 20s to pursue my career as an artist. I hesitate to include the artist part because I don't believe I fit the stereotype. For instance, I own guns and bows and occasionally will shoot a critter with them. During my years in Dallas I missed the country life so when I got the chance I decided to buy some land in East Texas.
I was married for 17 years, divorced almost 4 years ago. I have a son and two daughters. They live in the Dallas area and I enjoy visiting them as often as possible. In addition to being a Dad, I enjoy anything that gets me outdoors. I enjoy traveling, I especially love to escape the Texas summer heat by driving north to the mountains where I camp, hike and just soak up the nature. I'm handy and enjoy working on my land, I can build almost anything and have. I have chickens and a garden. I am as self-reliant as possible. I am a curious person so I enjoy learning/trying new things and meeting new people. I appreciate good conversations.
