Been retired from teaching for 10 yrs. but do some substituting 2-3 days a week. Love the outdoors, travel, movies, parks, lakes, rivers, mountains and enjoy many kinds of music: bluegrass, country, jazz, C&W, old rock n roll and meeting new people. Enjoy writing, art museums and historical sites. Have been to 37 states so I have 13 left to go and Alaska is one of them. did have a chance to teach in Hawaii for 2 yrs. but never get tired of going back. I do not have any children but they all go home at 3:15. Been single a long time and have had a very happy life and no complaints. Cigarette smoking is a deal breaker and cant even be around it. Love sports almost all kinds.I used to coach tennis, girls softball and taught swimming. I enjoy watching most sports and enjoy following the local teams: Cowboys, Rangers, Mavs etc. I have been to 1 Stars game. Looking forward to meeting some nice gentleman in the DFW area.
