Well I am originally a Yankee from Chicago (thru no fault of my own, so please don't hold it againt me), but have been raised in the greater Tampa Bay of Florida for 30+ years at this point.
I'm well aware FL is 'south' geographically speaking, but I do not consider it a southern state who has the (typically lovely people) who live in the true southern states. I was raised by a step-dad from a one caution light town in south Georgia and have spent much time there on his family farms and other southern states, theses times have always left me a sense of peace and wonderment.
Since COVID we have had a plethora of transplants relocate to the Sunshine state, most of whom seen to be from the NE (NY, New England and others) who seem to not have a single good thing to say about FL. This and other factors have me desiring some open land, friendly people, and tradition.
I am a self-sufficient, educated female without children and no ex-husband to create a convoluted mess. I am an avid fishermen, equestrian, scuba diver, and ultimately enjoy my time spent outdoors. I love my family and hope to findsome who feels the same.
The majority of the time I pretty laid back and avoid drama, but I will not stand for injustice. All in all I am looking to build a life w a partner who shares similar goals and is also looking to carve out their own piece of paradise.
