I Would Describe Myself As

“ I am considered to be an honest person, genuine and authentic. I have good ethics and integrity. I am "old school" in my beliefs. I am a spiritual person, a Christian, but do not attend services. I love life and live it to the fullest, one day at a time, every day. I look for something, even the simplest of things to make each day worth while, to be thankful for. I am a realist; a half of a glass of water, is neither half full or half empty, but a half of a glass, be thankful for having it. I try and find the good in any situation. I am passionate about life and everything I do. I am also a very compassionate person and sentimental. I am as tough as they come, but matters of the heart is my weakness. I am a very laid back, basic, simple man, yet deep and intellectual. I am civic minded. I believe in giving back. I volunteer some time to helping youth and education. I believe one of the greatest gifts we as individuals, can give ourselves, is that feeling received by doing selfless acts of kindness, no matter how small, that we do for others. The key being selfless, and do so anonymously when possible.

I am a person with a hectic schedule, so when I have down time, time to relax, I make the most of it. When I work, I work hard; I do the same when I play or rest. My interest, my taste in music, art(s) and cuisine, are as varied as it comes. You would probably be surprised by most of my interest and taste. My greatest passions are being in a saddle or having a speckled trout on the line. I love my dogs and horses. I like being outside, no matter what the weather is like. I never want to stop growing or learning. I like to discover and experience new things. I like a challenge and broadening my mind. I like back roads and out of the way places. I like "quaint." I, as a person, tend to take the road less traveled. I enjoy laughter. My humor can be very wet or extremely dry, anything in between, and certainly often sarcastic.

What am I looking for? These are some of things I look for: honesty, integrity, compassion, passion, genuine, authentic, pearls and jeans type, a lady, charm and grace, intelligence, sense of humor, patience, loves animals, likes the outdoors, commitment. It takes looks to catch my eye, but a sharp mind, gracious heart and beautiful soul, to keep my attention.

To me quality time, time shared by two people, is what you make of it. Here are some things I enjoy and like to share with someone. Spending time in Gruene or at the River Walk. Dinner and a movie. Cultural places or events. Museums, art galleries or antique shops. Staying home and cooking a meal together. Gardening or cleaning around the house. A tail gate or big porch sipping on a beverage watching the sun go down or star gazing. Curling up on the sofa with a movie or book. I appreciate good banter in a conversation. There is much more.
