Ok a little about myself. I was born in Texas, grew up in Louisiana and have lived in Montana since I was 19. am a commercial beekeeper running my operation solo. I am a strong and independent woman. . But I also enjoy when a man wants to do things for me or work by my side. I like to think there is nothing I can’t do if I set my mind to it. I have my cdl’s, drive a bus, and can back up a trailer and tie down a load like nobody’s business;). My Daddy taught me all the things “a man oughta know”. Don’t let this scare you. I’d love to meet a man that knows more manly stuff than me, so I don’t have to do it all. Ha ha. I am all heart. I have extreme empathy and am very affectionate and caring. I became a young widow 2 weeks before my 21st birthday. Anyone I’m with must be understanding of this and be ok with me talking about the love that I once had on occasion because he will always be a part of my life.
Jesus and family are the 2 most important things in my life. I like riding horses, hiking, kayaking, traveling, writing, and spending time with family. I have high standards and morals. I can almost always be found with a smile on my face no matter what life throws at me. I always look for the positive in every situation. I have a lot of patience and am slow to anger (unless I have good reason too be :).
This might be a tall order to fill, but I am looking for a man who loves Jesus, wears boots and knows how to work on things (good ole country boy), isn’t lazy, respects, and doesn’t cuss around woman and children, doesn’t smoke, drink or do driugs, doesn’t like to sit around arguing, and is loyal, faithful, honest and kind. Must like to laugh and and have a sense of humor. I want someone to enjoy life with and who enjoys spending time together. My idea relationship would start out as a friendship and grow from there if it’s meant to be, I would eventually like to spend the rest of my life with my best friend once I find him. I’ve not been in the dating world much. I’ve had a couple of failed relationships and I want to be more careful this time, not rush into things, and be more sure about the person I’m with. I think I have a better understanding of what I’m looking for now and don’t want to settle too quickly with the wrong person. Communication is key. I don’t feel like a relationship should be forced or rushed, but should happen naturally. I believe life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endeared.
I have 3 grown kids. I became an empty nester this
fall when my youngest headed off to college. That hit me kind of hard because my kids are my world. But I’ve learned and accepted now that it’s time for some me time and discovering who I am. Onwards to the next chapter.
