I homestead on the side of a mountain in Northern California where the oaks grow huge while the meadows turn a golden tan every summer. Life here is amazingly unique and wonderful.


I'm tall, intelligent and strong, gentle, kind and optimistic with a sometimes-wicked sense of humor. Independently minded, yet I'm always and ever true to my Man. I'm good with commitment and fidelity, am honest and compassionate. I love to be adored, touched and held by the man who loves me. I'm financially secure, emotionally balanced, have a good bit of common sense and usually am a pretty good listener.


Warm-water scuba diving is my favorite vacation, but getting snowed in at home is a winter pleasure. I love to curl up in a chair and read books for fun. Otherwise I spend my time designing the home I'll build someday (wanna build with me?), building garden beds, talking to my friends/family and walking the land.

My children are terrific, grown and live several hours away. Their childhood was a joy, but I'm done having children of my own. I wouldn't mind a bit if you have small children.

You might think by now that I'm pretty rustic. It's true that I'm as comfortable in flannel and leather as I am in diamonds and pearls. (and yes, I own diamonds and pearls, as well as flannel and leather.) Your home-cooked meal is as appreciated as dinner at a 5-star restaurant (although it IS nice to not have to do the dishes afterwards...)

Otherwise, I like art museums, architecture and watching the sun rise over the mountain tops across the river.

Vždy jsem chtěl/a vyzkoušet

Horseback riding, again. I haven't ridden (not really) since I was 13. Tig Welding. Using a bulldozer or really large excavator. Building a flame-thrower (It's a burning-man thing.) Meditation. To fix a carburetor (it would be a really useful skill to learn!) Laying in a hammock with a good book, all day. Diving in Palau.

to die peacefully, without any regrets.
In the meantime, my goal is to build a remote homestead/ranch and retreat space, making the entire space self-sustaining so it supports itself.
I like a challenge, and that seems a pretty huge challenge for a woman working alone!!

(A full woodshed is really, really beautiful when you live with wood-heat.)
